The Y axis is the alternative to the standard progression of time, the X axis. As opposed to the utter velocity and chaos of the quotidian world, Deerghayu (meaning longevity) looks to adorn the mindset with the possibility of an alternative lifestyle. Longevity is a function of the mellow and melody. The complete harmony between the outside and inside denies any kind of osmosis or surge in loss of energy, maintaining equilibrium. Deerghayu Healthcare, built as a planar wishbone or “Y”, is a collection of physical, environmental, social and emotional alternatives, promoting longevity as a lifestyle and not a goal. Splitting the program in to three arms invites light, air, flora and panorama indoors, blurring the lines between the built and natural. An alternative system of habitation and habituation and built with materials of natural selection and hues of raw patina, the Y axes overrule complete indoor and sterile living and establish an experience deeply rooted in the physical and notional wilderness.
